Canine Food Allergy

What is the Purpose of this Study?

Food allergies can be a nuisance and/or harmful to dogs, causing dermatological and even gastrointestinal issues. We are currently studying dogs experiencing a food allergy. This study will observe and assess dogs who are experiencing symptoms of food allergies.

What is a Clinical Study?

When Do I Have to Go to the Clinic?

There will be 1 visit over approximately a 3 month period.

What Will Happen in the Study?

There will be:

Labwork
Physical Examinations
Activity sensor (like a fitbit) worn on your dog's collar
Collect pet parent observations and insights

Is My Pet Eligible to Enroll?

*Requirements for Eligibility to Participate Include (but aren’t limited to):

Dog must be at least 1 year of age.
Dog must be in general good health
Dog must have a history of dermatological signs and/or gastrointestinal signs
Dog cannot be pregnant, lactating or intended for breeding
Dog cannot be consuming therapeutic food other than those for food allergies.

What Do I Have to Do?

‍You are responsible for:

Bringing your dog in for the required visits
Downloading the requested apps onto your mobile phone
Must have access to WiFi for most of the day
Being responsive to any calls to troubleshoot the activity sensor
Documenting your dog's stooling behavior and activity through an app
